Just a few days after the Indianapolis Colts beat the Titans quite easily in Nashville, the Titans are making a significant change on offense.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Titans’ head coach Brian Callahan will no longer be calling the offensive plays on game days. Those duties now belong to quarterbacks coach, Bo Hardegree.

Against the Colts on Sunday, the Titans would lose 41-20. The offense specifically averaged only 4.3 yards per play and throughout the contest, struggled to move the ball with any sort of consistency.
While this change by Callahan comes after a loss to the Colts, it of course, wasn’t only the outcome of that game that led to this decision.
Through three games this season, the Titans rank 28th in points per game, scoring just 17.0 per contest, and Tennessee ranks last in yards per play with 3.6.
This early-season performance comes on the heels of Tennessee winning just three games last season under Callahan, along with ranking near the bottom of the NFL in numerous key offensive metrics.

Winning games is the goal, but for the Titans, so is the development of No. 1 pick Cam Ward.
