GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — If you’re traveling through the West Valley on Thursday afternoon, you should plan to run into some traffic.
ADOT is advising drivers to expect heavier afternoon rush-hour traffic on the westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix and Loop 101 in Glendale on Thursday. That’s because the Arizona Cardinals are playing the Seattle Seahawks at State Farm Stadium.

If you’re planning to go to the game, allow yourself extra drive time to arrive ahead of the 5:15 p.m. kickoff. Parking lots will open at 1:15 p.m.
Fans who are coming from the southeast Valley should consider using the west and northbound Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway to bypass the I-10 traffic in downtown Phoenix.
