We are approaching the one-month mark of the 2025-26 NFL regular season, and several teams around the league have some very difficult decisions to make.

One team that has struggled through the first three weeks of the season is the New York Jets, who have questions under center.

Jets starting quarterback Justin Fields is currently in concussion protocol, and head coach Aaron Glenn is still waiting to learn where Fields is with his progress before deciding whether he or Tyrod Taylor will get the start in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.

“Justin came in as our starter and he’s been our starter, so listen Tyrod was the back up,” Glenn said, via Pro Football Talk. “So, I want to make sure I know exactly where Justin is at. I don’t want to say anything until I know that Justin is cleared, so once Justin is cleared I will let you know exactly where we’re going.”

If the season were to end today, the Jets would currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Taylor got the start for the Jets in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, falling 29-27. He completed 26-of-36 passes for 197 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, while rushing for 48 yards.

Kickoff between the 0-3 Jets and winless Dolphins is set for 7:15 p.m. ET on Monday Night Football.
