The Tennessee Titans were hopeful that they’d be able to turn things around quickly after selecting former Miami Hurricanes star Cam Ward first overall in the 2024 NFL draft. However, the Titans’ 41-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday dropped the organization to 0-3 on the season, and Ward hasn’t looked like the same player who tore apart the ACC in college.

Now, the Titans are pulling out all stops in order to try and get the train back on the tracks, or at least their head coach is, according to one prominent NFL Insider.

“A significant development for the #Titans: Coach Brian Callahan is handing off the play-calling duties to QBs coach Bo Hardegree,” reported Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Tuesday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“The Titans are a mess and it has alot to do with coaching. They have talent on the roster but they have clowns in charge of that talent,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Would be even better if they just went ahead and fired Callahan. Amy just waiting until they get embarrassed by Vrabel and the patriots I guess,” someone else added.

“Anything is better than Callahan. Terrible Coaching by him all around this year,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if the move helps the Titans salvage the season or if they’ll be picking at the top of the draft again next offsesaon.
