Buccaneers vs. Eagles picks against the spread
Jon Hoefling: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have easily been one of the luckiest teams in the NFL as of late, going 3-0 with a combined point differential of just six. Expect the Eagles to take full advantage and hand Tampa their first loss.
Blake Schuster: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
I would’ve taken the Bucs before Mike Evans got hurt, for what it’s worth. If this line moves more toward Philly, I might reconsider the points here.
Tyler Dragon: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
Tampa Bay’s won the past two games against the Eagles, including a playoff win. The loss of Mike Evans is a tough blow. The Eagles got their passing game going in the second half of last week’s win.
Richard Morin: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5)
Do you believe in Baker?
Christopher Bumbaca: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
I still like the Eagles’ roster more. The Buccaneers’ injuries along the offensive line are ripe to be exposed by Philadelphia’s formidable defensive front. Mike Evans’ injury is another cause for concern.
Lorenzo Reyes: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5)
It was a little touch and go last week against the Rams, but the Eagles escaped with the win and the cover on a last second blocked field goal returned for a touchdown. Philadelphia has the better roster, but the Buccaneers have been steady and solid, and I like that they’re getting points at home. I might even play this up to 4.5 just to be safe.
