The Tennessee Titans are coming off another disastrous performance against the Indianapolis Colts, which has led to some significant changes in the offensive play-calling structure heading into their Week 4 matchup with the Houston Texans.

In what should be an intense battle with their AFC South rivals, something will have to give with both teams entering the game winless on the season. With the Titans traveling to Houston this week, we here at Titans Wire will again have a hypothetical opportunity to scour the Texans’ roster in search of depth and/or talent upgrades.

The Titans have had a rough start to the season, but they have seen some of their young talent showcase their abilities. Unfortunately, questionable play-calling, a porous offensive line, penalties, and uneven defensive performances have hindered their efforts.

The Texans may be struggling, but they have some established talent that could come in and immediately help the Titans in areas that could give the team a boost, and there are plenty of players to choose from.

Wide receiver Nico Collins, defensive end Danielle Hunter, and cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. are talented playmakers who would be upgrades at their positions. And while all of those could help in different ways and be potential targets, one player outshines all of them: Defensive end Will Anderson Jr.

The Titans are in desperate need of help on the edge and have received little to no production from their edge unit in 2025. While this was a known issue and huge question mark entering the season, their performance as a group has been way below expectations, and Anderson could step in and add a much-needed pass-rushing force to a defense that is in dire need of playmakers.

Anderson is an elite edge rusher and has started the season strong with 12 total tackles (10 solo) and three sacks for the Texans. Versatile and productive, he can take over games and is a force on every play. He would immediately be the Titans’ top edge player, adding another dynamic force to a unit that relies solely on Jeffery Simmons to generate pressure.

What are your thoughts, Titans fans? Would pick Will Anderson Jr. or steal an entirely different player from the Houston Texans. Sound off and let us know.
