Yet another former Carolina Panther is off to play in the “Music City.”

As announced on Tuesday, running back Raheem Blackshear has signed to the Tennessee Titans‘ practice squad. The 27-year-old rusher and return specialist spent the first three seasons of his NFL career in Carolina.

Blackshear cracked into the league as an undrafted free-agent signee of the Buffalo Bills in 2022. The Panthers would sign the Rutgers and Virginia Tech product off of Buffalo’s practice squad in late September of that year.

He’d go on to serve as Carolina’s primary kick returner through the 2024 campaign, fielding a total of 66 kickoffs at an average of 26.3 yards per attempt. Blackshear also recorded 23 punt returns for 200 yards (8.7 per return), 203 rushing yards and 138 receiving yards.

Blackshear nows joins a handful of other former Panthers players who have joined the Titans here in 2025—including defensive lineman Shy Tuttle, safety Xavier Woods and punter Johnny Hekker.
