Penn State’s veteran center has earned some attention through the early portion of the season.
Per release, Nick Dawkins was selected for the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame 2025 Campbell Trophy as a semifinalist.
The recognition is given to “college football’s premier scholar-athlete award” according to the release. It’s criteria includes academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership.
The list has 177 semifinalists. Dawkins is one of 88 offensive players recognized. His off-field acts continue to receive recognition after winning the Wuerffel Trophy last season.Â
