After 3 games, they now sit at a 1-2 win-loss record, showing concerns in the lineup. Speaking to the reporters after practice on September 24, the QB was asked if he wanted longer drives. He confessed, “Let’s score again fast. If that team is having a game on the opposing team, offense is having a day, we still got to put points on the board. We can’t rely on slowing down, cuz, go back to Bill’s game when we did that, those guys made a comeback. So, we just got to do our job and put points on the board each and every job if we could.” Well, Baltimore has never been poor in scoring.

They won the week 2 game by 41-17 and even lost to the Lions in week 3 by 30-38. After 3 games, Lamar Jackson & co. lead the league in receiving touchdowns (9) and are 6th in the league in rushing TDs (4). But yes, the defense has stumbled at times. Against the Lions, they allowed RB David Montgomery to rush the ball for 72 yards, with the 96 yard play.

It’s a long season ahead of us, but we’ve just got to lock in.”
