NFL analyst Colin Cowherd has made some pretty outlandish statements when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s said plenty of things that left us shaking our heads. But his most recent segment on the Steelers and his idea of the team looking for a running back near the trade deadline to help add some punch to the offense.

“The o-line is inexplicably bad, again,” Cowherd said. “Najee Harris is gone. Kaleb Johnson could be a miss, could be a whiff. You didn’t get Aaron Rodgers for a three-year plan. It was a one-year plan. Fix the offensive line. Go get a very good running back on a bad team at the trade deadline.”

As much as we love Jaylen Warren and think he can be productive, if Pittsburgh can pull off a trade in a few weeks to add another starting-caliber back, it would be an excellent addition. Cowher noted the offensive line is bad and we don’t deny that. But in two or three weeks, they will know exactly what they have, and if there’s some growth, adding a second back would be a smart addition.
