There were times during the Monday Night Football game between the Ravens and Lions when I felt that anything the Lions would put out there, it was going to be successful. Yep, mind over matter was at its absolute best Monday night for the Lions.
As for the Ravens? Not so much. There were times when I thought that the Ravens’ defense was close to horrendous, clueless, if you will, with the constant issue of players out of position and lamentable tackling (“The Baltimore Sun’s Ravens report card: Position-by-position grades for 38-30 loss to Lions,” Sept. 23).
Dang, there are so many issues with this team, but so little time to turn these issues around because, as we know, time flies swiftly in the NFL season. And please do not get me started on Coach John Harbaugh. That is an issue for another day.
