Steve McNair and Eddie George are among eight former Tennessee Titans nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

The other former Titans among the modern-era players nominated include running back Chris Johnson, fullback Lorenzo Neal, receiver Derrick Mason, tight end Delanie Walker, defensive lineman Jurrell Casey and kicker Gary Anderson.

A total of 128 modern-era players were nominated for the class of 2026.

Casey made the list for consideration for the first time.

McNair, a quarterback, and George, a running back, led the Titans to the 1999 Super Bowl.

McNair was the 2003 NFL co-MVP with Peyton Manning. He also was an All-Pro in 2003 and selected three times to the Pro Bowl.

McNair threw for 31,304 career passing yards with 174 touchdowns over 13 seasons, which included two with the Baltimore Ravens,

George made the All-Pro second team and was selected for the Pro Bowl in 1999. He had 10,441 career rushing yards with 68 touchdowns. George is now the coach at Bowling Green after spending the previous four years at Tennessee State.

The nominees consists of 77 offensive players, 42 defensive players and nine special teams players.

The list will be reduced to 50 (plus ties, if any) in mid-October and then 25 semifinalists after that. Another vote will create the list of 15 finalists and the Class of 2026 will include three to five modern-era players.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be enshrined in August 2026.
