Worthy was a limited participant in practice last week, but K.C. erred on the side of caution, keeping the speedster on the sideline. The wideout was a full participant in practices this week, foreshadowing his return.

Reid was asked what he saw from the first-round receiver in practice this week.

“Fast. He was running fast,” he responded. “We didn’t worry about his legs, right? It was an upper-body injury, so he’s been able to keep himself in good shape and ready to go. He looked good, what we asked him to do there.”

Worthy will immediately slide into a go-to role for Patrick Mahomes against the Ravens, in a passing offense that has struggled to find its footing this season. Mahomes has yet to throw for 260 yards in any game this season.

Worthy earned 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns in 17 games in 2024.
