Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed participated in the coin toss at the Oakland-Blackman TSSAA football game on Sept. 26 at Blackman High School in Rutherford County.
As is the case during select high school football regular season games throughout the season, a Titans player participated in the pregame festivities during the designated Titans high school game of the week.
Sneed is in attendance for a crucial game in Class 6A, with Oakland and Blackman both coming into the game at 5-0. The winner will have a clear edge in Region 3-6A.
Tennessee (0-3) travels to the Houston Texans (0-3) this weekend for an AFC South divisional showdown. The Titans have had an eventful off-the-field week leading up to the Week 4 game, including an offensive play-caller change, a trade of a defensive starter and Sneed’s needling of Texans star receiver Nico Collins when talking to the media on Sept. 24.
When asked about Collins, Sneed twice responded, “Who?”
The Titans’ highly-paid cornerback has fully returned from an offseason knee procedure that kept him out of most of training camp and preseason practice. Sneed played 100% of the snaps in the Titans’ Week 3 loss to Indianapolis.
