The Philadelphia Eagles (3-0) wrapped up their final practice of the week as they prepare to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0) in Week 4, and they’re looking healthier than expected.

The only Eagles player on this week’s injury report who is likely to miss Sunday is cornerback Adoree Jackson, who is listed as doubtful due to a Groin injury.

Meanwhile, linebackers Zack Baun (Knee) and Jihaad Campbell (Triceps), offensive tackle Lane Johnson (Stinger), quarterback Tanner McKee (Right Thumb), and running back Will Shipley (Oblique) did not receive an injury designation for Sunday.

Eagles’ Looking Thin at Cornerback

The Philadelphia Eagles are running thin at the cornerback position after they placed Jakorian Bennett on Injured Reserve earlier this week with a pectoral injury, and Jackson sidelined due to a groin issue.

That means a huge opportunity for third-year cornerback Kelee Ringo is loading.

Once ex-Eagles star cornerback Darius Slay left Philly in NFL free agency, the starting outside cornerback job opposite Quinyon Mitchell was Ringo’s to lose. Unfortunately, he lost the training camp competition, but he still carved out an important role on special teams.

“I think he’s handled it very well,” Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said. “It didn’t affect his role as a special teamer, which he’s one of the top ones in the league. I think he knows that, eventually, he’ll get a shot, for some reason whatsoever, and he’ll be ready.”

Losing the battle also didn’t kill Ringo’s confidence, which he attributes to his faith.

“Staying true to who you are,” Ringo said. “Continue to have faith in God. Everybody is in this position for a reason. Whether it’s a challenge you’re being taken through or an obstacle. I know what I’m capable of. I know how much time I put into the game, and it’s well-deserving.”

Ringo’s second chance will come Sunday when the Birds kick off at 1 pm ET against the Bucs.
