The Buffalo Bills return to Highmark Stadium today for the second of three straight home games, hosting the New Orleans Saints at 1 p.m. on CBS.

It’s one of only two scheduled early-afternoon kickoffs in Orchard Park this season, giving Buffalo a chance to build on its dominant home-field run. The Bills have won 13 straight regular-season games at home, dating back to 2023, and another win would push them closer to tying the franchise record of 15 consecutive home victories.

Buffalo enters Week 4 at 3-0 after defeating the Miami Dolphins 31-21 last Thursday to stay perfect on the season. The Bills are averaging 34 points per game, fourth-best in the NFL, behind a balanced offense that leads the league in total yards and rushing yards per game. Quarterback Josh Allen has accounted for seven touchdowns with no turnovers, while running back James Cook powers the league’s top rushing attack.

New Orleans, meanwhile, is off to a 0-3 start following a lopsided 44-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, its first road game of the year.

The Bills and Saints have met sparingly over the years, but New Orleans claimed the most recent matchup at Highmark Stadium in 2017 with a decisive 47-10 win. Buffalo still holds the edge in the all-time series, though, and a victory on Sunday would mark the team’s first 4-0 start since 2020.

Last time the Bills beat the Saints in Buffalo was October 1983. Bills won, 27-21 behind four TD passes from Fergy.

One went to Jerry Butler, one to Tony Hunter (drafted before Jim Kelly) and two went to the WR dynamo named Michael Mosley (had 1 other TD catch in his career)

One bettor at @BetMGM wagered $90,000 on the Buffalo Bills ML (-2000) vs. the New Orleans Saints.

Bills are 16.5-point favorites.

Bet would win $4,500

Only four NFL teams, other than the Bills, have a winning record at Highmark Stadium all-time.

The Saints have the fewest losses, with just one coming back in 1983…

1. Saints – .800 (4-1)
2. Patriots – .595 (31-21)
3. Chargers – .555 (5-4)
3. Vikings – .555 (5-4)

The Saints are the final remaining team in the league that has yet to run an offensive play with a lead.
