The NFL heads to Dublin, Ireland, to play the first regular season game in the country in the league’s history as the Pittsburgh Steelers face the Minnesota Vikings.
The Steelers come into the matchup winning their second game of the year, a 21-14 victory over the New England Patriots on Sept. 21. On top of the defense’s five forced turnovers, Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the team on a nine play, 62-yard drive late in the fourth quarter, capped off with a touchdown reception from Calvin Austin III to give the team a seven-point lead.
On the flip side, the Vikings defeated the Steelers‘ AFC North foe, the Cincinnati Bengals, 48-10. In his first game under center replacing injured quarterback J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz threw for a pair of touchdowns. The Vikings also forced five turnovers with two interceptions and three fumbles.
