Week 5 of the 2025 college football season is in the books.

Here’s how every college football team in the state of Oklahoma fared:

NCAA Division IOklahoma

No. 7 OU (4-0) had a bye week. Next up is a home, non-conference game against Kent State at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Oklahoma State

OSU (1-3) continued its losing streak falling 45-27 to Baylor. Running back Trent Howland led the Cowboys with 16 carries, 84 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Sam Jackson V had a stellar first half catching two passes for 5 yards and rushing twice for 9 yards while also playing wildcat quarterback. Next up is an road game against Arizona at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Tulsa

Tulsa (2-3) could not maintain the momentum after the win over OSU, falling 31-14 to Tulane. The Hurricanes were led by quarterback Baylor Hayes who completed 18 of his 36 passes for 246 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception. Next up is an road game against Memphis at 7 p.m. Saturday.

NCAA Division IICentral Oklahoma

UCO (2-2) fell 38-16 to Northwest Missouri, dropping its first MIAA game of the season. The Bronchos put up 294 yards of total offense, with redshirt freshman Clayton Creasey throwing for 174 in his second career start. Next up is a home game against Central Missouri at 7 p.m. Saturday.

East Central

East Central (3-1) dominated Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-4) in a 41-20 win. Redshirt sophomore quarterback Sergio Kennedy led the Tigers completing 12 of 24 attempts, and recorded 288 passing yards with two touchdowns. Next up is a road game against Harding at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Northeastern State

Northeastern State (2-2) had a bye week. Next up is a home game against West Florida at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Northwestern Oklahoma State

Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-4) is still yet to claim a win this season, losing 41-20 to East Central. Junior quarterback Caleb Deal led the Rangers with 14 completions in 21 attempts and 179 passing touchdowns. True freshman quarterback Jax Bernard also got playing time and scored one passing and one rushing touchdown. Next up is a home game against Southern Arkansas at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Oklahoma Baptist

Oklahoma Baptist (2-2) fell to Southwestern Oklahoma State 38-24. OBU played three quarterbacks, and both graduate transfers Deuce Wise and TJ McMahon scored one touchdown. McMahon, who played the majority of the game, completed 11 of 22 attemps and 194 passing yards. Next up is a road game against Ouachita Baptist at noon Saturday.

Southeastern Oklahoma State

Southeastern Oklahoma State (2-2) defeated SNU 27-21 in Bethany. Redshirt freshman quarterback Levay Duncan led SEOSU with 189 passing yards and 59 rushing yards. Four different players were responsible for each of SEOSU’s four touchdowns. Next up is a road game against Arkansas Tech at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Southern Nazarene

SNU (1-3) fell 27-21 to SEOSU. Redshirt senior quarterback Bryson Evans led the Crimson Storm with 30 passing yards, 36 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Next up is a road game against Arkansas-Monticello at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Southwestern Oklahoma State

SWOSU (2-2) defeated OBU 38-24 at home. Quarterback MJ Rivers completed 8 of 14 passes and recorded two touchdowns for 65 yards. Next up is a home game against Henderson State at 2 p.m. Saturday.

NAIALangston

Langston (1-3) had a bye week. Next up is a home game against Ottawa-Arizona at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Oklahoma Panhandle State

Panhandle State (4-2) took down Louisiana Christian 56-27 on the road. Quarterback Bryce Perkins led the team with two touchdowns, completing 21 of 30 attempts and recording 299 passing yards. Next up is a road game against Wayland Baptist at 4 p.m. Saturday.

NJCAANortheastern Oklahoma A&M

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M fell to Tyler Junior College 45-29 on the road. No stats were provided. Next up is a road game against Cisco College at 1 p.m. Saturday.
