Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season is upon us and the action will continue on Sunday with the New Orleans Saints visiting the Buffalo Bills at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Saints are off to a rough 0-3 start and were dominated by the Seahawks in all three phases in a 44-13 blowout loss last week. Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed made a modest contribution to the offense in the losing effort and we’ll see if he can step it up this week against the current Super Bowl favorites.

Below, we’ll go over Shaheed’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.

Fantasy Football analysis: Saints WR Rashid Shaheed

Shaheed hauled in four of his six targets for 42 yards in New Orleans’ road loss at Seattle last Sunday, which was similar numbers to his prior two outings. As the Saints’ third-receiving option behind Juwan Johnson and Chris Olave, he’s currently the 35th ranked receiver in PPR leagues with an average of 10.9 fantasy points per game.

Something to note is that he enters Week 4 with the 10th-most routes run among wide receivers at 115, but has a 17.24% target share that ranks 50th. That can easily be explained by Johnson and Olave taking up the majority of targets, but Shaheed managers would certainly like to see Spencer Rattler spread the wealth a little bit more. Especially if the Saints continue to play from behind and have to pass their way back into ballgames.

Start or sit in Week 4 PPR leagues?

Sit. Buffalo has yielded a league-low 438 total passing yards through three games this season, so New Orleans may have some difficulty moving the ball through the air in this one. The Saints’ opportunities on offense may be limited in general considering that the Bills lead the league in average time of possession at roughly 35 minutes per game. Between this and a low target share, I’d avoid Shaheed for this week.
