COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football’s Ryan Day has established himself against unranked opponents.
If you’re not Michigan and you’re not in the AP Top 25, you’ll lose to the Buckeyes. The oddsmakers expect that trend to continue Saturday.
Ohio State is favored by 23.5 point against Minnesota, according to DraftKings.
The teams will meet at Ohio Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
The Buckeyes are coming off a 24-6 win at Washington. In the victory, Ohio State got off to a slow start and needed a touchdown late in the second quarter to secure a lead before halftime.
However, OSU had a strong second half to improve to 4-0 and win its Big Ten opener.
Minnesota also won its conference opener Saturday with a 31-28 win against Rutgers.
The Golden Gophers started off slow, falling behind 14-0 against the Scarlet Knights. However, Minnesota’s offense came to life and scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to win.
Counting a vacated win in 2010, Ohio State has won 13 straight games against Minnesota. The Golden Gophers’ last win against the Buckeyes came in 2000.
