Week 5 of the college football season is in the books, and fans are now waiting for the release of the latest rankings following another wild weekend of action.
Three top five teams — Penn State, LSU, and Georgia — all suffered losses in Week 5, along with the No. 8 Florida State Seminoles
One AP Top 25 voter who always shares some early insight into how things could play out is respected media veteran Brett McMurphy, who is transparent enough to share his ballot each and every week.

On Sunday, McMurphy released his rankings for Week 5, with the Ohio State Buckeyes retaining the No. 1 spot.
Following Ohio State were several changes near the top.

The Oregon Ducks jumped to No. 2 after their upset win over the Penn State Nittany Lions in overtime, while the Miami Hurricanes, Ole Miss Rebels, and Texas A&M Aggies round out the top five.
The Virginia Cavaliers, Illinois Fighting Illini, Arizona State Sun Devils, and BYU Cougars were new additions to the poll.
