The New Orleans Saints have lost their starting quarterback weeks before the regular NFL season, which means they now have to find a new starting quarterback. New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore says Spencer Rattler, Jake Haener and rookie Tyler Shough will compete for the spot. “We’re going to let all three of these guys roll, and they’ve all earned these opportunities,” Moore said. “We’ll play patience, let these guys compete, let them get into training camp and you know naturally, those guys will kind of take care of itself.”Rattler and Haener went a combined 0-7 last season. NFL Insider Ian Rapoport said Carr’s retirement will eventually set the stage for Shough to take the job. However, it is important to note that the Saints have not announced who will take the position.
