The Texans started the first of three scoring possessions on their 18-yard line, driving to their 41 before committing back to back offensive penalties. All of a sudden, it was second down and 33 and it looked like another drive would stall.
Then, C.J. Stroud found Nico Collins for 37 yards and the Texans were cooking in Titans territory. Five plays later, Stroud would hit Woody Marks, who ran the ball into the endzone for his first career touchdown.
A Derek Stingley Jr. pick gave the Texans great field position to eventually cash in with Jayden Higgins’ first TD on a 24-yard pass from an in-rhythm Stroud.
Marks’ second TD came after a takeaway-on-downs, capping the scoring for the afternoon.
