Three key Dallas Cowboys players sustained injuries during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Safety Malik Hooker was ruled out as the second half began. Meanwhile, running back Miles Sanders was deemed questionable to return.
Those weren’t the only injuries to monitor. Linebacker Kenneth Murray went down with 3:44 left in the fourth quarter. Murray was evaluated on the field before walking to the sideline with help from trainers.
According to the Cowboys, Hooker sustained a toe injury and Sanders injured his ankle.

Hooker appeared to sustain his toe injury when he attempted to track down a deep pass from Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love. The safety couldn’t come down with an interception and quickly hopped off the field with 5:50 left in the first half.
After a brief evaluation on the sideline, Hooker made his way back to the locker room before he was ruled out. Hooker came into Sunday’s game with 16 total tackles through three games.
With Hooker out, Juanyeh Thomas lined up next to Donovan Wilson at safety.
Sanders posted two carries and two receptions before he was deemed questionable. He posted 25 total yards before the second quarter ended.
Murray posted five total tackles before exiting in the fourth quarter.
