GREG Olsen has slammed a decision made by the Pittsburgh Steelers in their win against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Steelers claimed a 24-21 win against the Vikings in Dublin, Ireland, yesterday.

However, former NFL tight end Olsen, 40, has criticized their decision to take a controversial delay-of-game.
Their decision came as the Steelers lined up on the Vikings’ 40-yard line on fourth down.
They needed just half a yard for a fresh set of downs.
There just over a minute remaining on the game clock.
Instead of running the ball for short yardage, the Steelers opted to delay the game and punt the football downfield.
The punt bounced out of bounds behind the end zone.
“It’s a no-brainer,” Olsen said on the NFL Network broadcast. “You get a half a yard and the Minnesota Vikings never possess the ball ever again!
“You can’t let the third and short play when they don’t get any yards spook you.”
Olsen and co-presenter Joe Davis, 37, are normally presenters for Fox’s NFL coverage.
However, Olsen has been downgraded behind Tom Brady, 48, as the New England Patriots legend turns to the commentary booth.

They were loaned to the NFL Network for the historic Steelers-Vikings game in Ireland.
Running back Kenneth Gainwell, 26, scored two of the Steelers’ three touchdowns with short-yardage rushes.
Additionally, wide receiver DK Metcalf, 27, has been praised after powering through the Vikings for 80 yards to score.
The Steelers’ decision left Olsen confused as it handed the Vikings the ball back with time to play.

“You’ve been good all day with Gainwell running the ball behind this offensive line,” Olsen continued. “I don’t get it.
“They can still win the game. The outcome doesn’t mean the decisions are correct.”
The Vikings had already rallied to score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
However, others have argued that it was the correct move as the Vikings had to run 90 yards after the punt.
A rush attempt from the Steelers could risk a fumble and a potentially more dangerous turnover.
Fortunately for the Steelers, they held on for a narrow win against the Vikings.
