The Carolina Panthers might be adding a much-needed spark to their offense.

Head coach Dave Canales told reporters on Monday that he expects rookie wideout Jimmy Horn Jr. to make his NFL regular-season debut this upcoming week.

“Yeah, we’ll get to see Jimmy Horn,” Canales replied when asked if Horn will receive playing time against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. “He’s got a great opportunity. We’re excited about it. We wanna make sure that he’s able to go out there and give us significant reps, and we’ll carve out a role because there’s certainly things he can bring to our offense with his speed and ability to carry the ball and make yards. So, I’m excited for Jimmy to get this opportunity this week.”

Carolina is currently dealing with a handful of injures at the receiver position. Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker did not dress for yesterday’s 42-13 loss to the New England Patriots, which also saw veteran David Moore exit after the first offensive snap due to an elbow injury.

Horn, the team’s sixth-round pick from the 2025 draft, has been inactive for each of the first four games.
