Bengals Wrap: Skid continues in Denver as Cincinnati loses 28-3

Enquirer beat reporter Kelsey Conway wraps up the Bengals loss to the Broncos in NFL Week 4.

Cincinnati Bengals rookie linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. suffered an apparent leg injury during the second quarter of the team’s NFL Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on ABC’s Monday Night Football.

Knight remained down at the end of a play, but walked off the field under his own power. Knight wore a Joe Burrow jersey to the stadium.

Knight returned to the game later in the second quarter, and had his first career interception in the end zone with less than two minutes remaining in the first half.

Knight, the Bengals’ second-round pick from South Carolina in the 2025 NFL draft, reached agreement on a contract with the team July 19.

Knight is projected to be a starting linebacker for the Bengals this season.

Before South Carolina, Knight played four seasons at Georgia Tech and one season at Charlotte.
