Among running backs with 30-plus attempts, Cook ranks sixth in YPC (5.3), trailing just backs like Taylor, Derrick Henry, and David Montgomery.
On Sunday, Cook gained 12 rushing yards over expected (RYOE), per Next Gen Stats. He continues to play efficiently.
Many felt Cook’s offseason contract dispute made him expendable. Others believed his summer layoff would lead to a lackluster campaign.
