The actor was on the field in support of the Longhorns on Aug. 30 when the Buckeyes beat Texas 14-7, his first time at Ohio Stadium. He told 10TV on Aug. 30 he wanted to be at The Horseshoe “my entire life.”

“It’s such a special stadium, one of the scariest places to play,” Powell told 10TV.

Powell, an Austin, Texas, native and Texas alum, is an avid Longhorns fan. He led the Texas fight chant on Sept. 20 against Sam Houston at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
