The New Orleans Saints are still searching for their first win of the 2025 NFL season. But this 0-4 team is getting some big time help added to the roster this week.
Who Do The Saints Player In Week 5
The Saints will take on the New York Giants, in New Orleans on Sunday. The game will have a 12pm local kickoff time, and will matchup a pair of teams that have been struggling this season.
Although the Giants may have turned a corner last week, as they moved to rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart as their starter. Dart proceeded to lead the Giants to an upset win over one of the AFC’s best teams, the Los Angeles Chargers.

This week, Tight Ends Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill (who is really more than a Tight End) are coming off the Physically Unable to Perform, or PUP, list. Both players have been dealing with long-term injuries, which made them eligible for the PUP list. The PUP list is a place where teams can move players with injuries to that will allow them more space on their roster for healthy players.

Once those players on the PUP list reach the end of their injury term, they can return to practice, and then return to the field. Which is where both Hill and Moreau are now.
Will Taysom Hill Play This Week?
Right now, it’s highly unlikely that Taysom Hill will play for the Saints against the Giants. Hill is just now returning to practice with the team. This is literally the first time both players have hit the practice field this season.
Both Hill and Moreau are coming back from a knee injuries, with Hill’s being much more serious.

Last December, Hill’s season ended with a torn ACL. With his age (35) there are some who are wondering if Hill will play again. Based on the fact he’s coming back in his PUP practice window, it sounds like he’s coming back this year.
Moreau seems to have had a less severe knee injury, one that has been a little vague, but did require surgery. There hasn’t been much, if any, talk about Moreau not coming back this year.
