New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is a certified psychopath in the best sense of the word. Just look at his jersey.
It is dirtier than I have ever seen in my entire life.
He looked like he just rolled through a pile of dirt after playing a game on turf. There may not be a running back in the NFL who runs harder than the fourth-round pick.
Cam Skattebo runs angry.
Skattebo was not ranked as a recruit out of Rio Linda High School. The California-native committed to Sacramento State as a zero-star prospect and worked his way up to become a starting running back in the National Football League just five years later.
He did so by running hard at 5-foot-1, 215 pounds.
Skattebo ran for 1,372 yards with the Hornets in 2022, which led him to Arizona State. The Sun Devils reached the College Football Playoff in large part because of his 1,711 yards rushing and 24 total touchdowns.
It did not take long for Skattebo to pick right back up where he left off as a professional. The crew at Good Morning Football named him as the winner of ‘Angry Runs’ in his very first game for this:

He is coming downhill and he will run you over.

And not only as a runner. As a lead blocker too.

Look at him uproot the free rusher:

You can even find him on the second level!

There is no one else quite like Cam Skattebo. Just ask Brian Daboll.

He even shakes his head before every play which makes him look even more like a maniac.
The New York Giants play on turf.
I am not here to tell you what you already know. Cam Skattebo is so much fun to watch play football because he seeks contact and often wins the battle in the open field.
With that being said, I was still blown away by the condition of his jersey after the game on Sunday.
The New York Giants play on turf. It was a beautiful, mid-70º, low-80º in New Jersey. It was not pouring rain. There is no mud on the field because the grass is not real.
And yet, Skattebo still managed to look like this as he went back into the locker room:

I can say with 100% certainty that I have never seen a jersey get that dirty from an NFL game played on artificial turf on a picture perfect day with fairly mild temperatures. Skattebo is one of one.
