2. Tuli’s sack production
Tuli Tuipulotu was on a roll Sunday as he finished the game with career-highs in tackles (nine), solo tackles (six), tackles for loss (five) and sacks (4.0).
His 4.0 sacks tied for the third most in a single game by a Chargers player since sacks became a statistic in 1982.
Tuipulotu was dominant in the first half as he posted 3.0 sacks, which were the most by a Chargers player in the first half since 2000.
Tuipulotu, who didn’t have a sack before Week 4, is suddenly tied for the third-most sacks in the NFL this season.
Be in your seats early Sunday if you’re coming to SoFi Stadium.
With Keenan Allen needing just two catches to reach 1,000 for his career, there’s a chance the Chargers wide receiver gets it on the Bolts first offensive possession.
If (or when) Allen does hit the mark, he’ll become the 16th player to reach 1,000 career receptions.
But if he gets it Sunday, he’ll also be the fastest player in NFL history to do so in just 159 career games.
