FOX NFL Sunday analyst and New York Giants legend, Michael Strahan, will appear in a new episode of ‘Shark Tank’ on Wednesday after being offered the role of guest investor.
Strahan is known for his roles on ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘FOX NFL Sunday,’ but made a name for himself as a defensive end for the Giants. The 53-year-old won a Super Bowl in New York and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2001, and has since expressed interest in becoming a minority owner of the team.
The Giants legend is a serial investor with a diverse portfolio, and Celebrity Net Worth estimates his worth at $65 million. Strahan is a hugely popular television personality and will appear as a guest shark on the show.

“We’re thrilled to welcome @michaelstrahan to the Tank!” ‘Shark Tank’ wrote on Instagram. “Catch him on an all-new episode of #SharkTank, this Wednesday at 10/9c on ABC and stream on Hulu.”
Alongside the post was an interview with Strahan, who explained why he was excited to become a guest shark. “I want to be a shark because I love entrepreneurship,” Strahan said.

“I love to compete. I love to win. What I admire about ‘Shark Tank’ is that every time you watch it, you learn something.
“You learn a new question to ask. You learn a new way to look into a business. There’s always someone to root for. I think that’s the greatest joy in life, bringing people along, building people up.
“Life isn’t always fair. Life isn’t always easy. But there’s nothing better when you see someone who has truly gone on to make it. It gives hope. And that’s what ‘Shark Tank’ means to me.”
According to Spotrac, Strahan earned $76.4 million in contracts and bonuses throughout his entire Giants career. Despite his sports background, Strahan has invested in several sectors, such as the food and beverage industry.

The Giants legend co-founded his own talent management and production company, SMAC Entertainment. Strahan’s net worth is even more impressive after a costly divorce in 2006.
Strahan split from his second wife, Jean Muggli, 19 years ago, but a settlement was reportedly agreed upon in 2007. The divorce cost Strahan a reported $15.3 million, with large child support payments as they shared twin daughters.
