These workouts perhaps raise concerns about Trey Benson’s unknown injury

The Cardinals will have some practice squad moves to announce on Wednesday. The NFL transaction report for Tuesdays shows they cut one player and had four in for tryouts.

They terminated the contract of cornerback Ekow Boye-Doe, perhaps a signal that Will Johnson will return to lineup this week.

They had four running backs in for tryouts. They already signed Michael Carter to the active roster and D’Ernest Johnson to the practice squad, so perhaps the injury that has Trey Benson day-to-day will keep him out of practice this week.

Expect an announcement by the Cardinals about practice squad moves Wednesday.
