The Baltimore Ravens are limping into week five hosting duties against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The Ravens were down eight players in total at practice today, with seven of those starters. None bigger than quarterback Lamar Jackson who did not practice today due to Sunday’s hamstring injury suffered at Kansas City against the Chiefs. His backup Cooper Rush was running the practice.
The Ravens were down Jackson, left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and fullback Pat Ricard (calf) on offense. Ricard hasn’t practiced since training camp, but is still on the active roster. Reserve wide receiver Tez Walker also not practicing today.
The Ravens were down four on defense, all starters, and three of those in the secondary. Starting cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (calf), Nate Wiggins (elbow) and Chidobe Awuzie did not practice. Inside linebacker Roquan Smith also missed practice following a hamstring injury from week four.
The Ravens did have two starters coming off injuries and missed time on defense at practice as the bright spot in outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hamstring) and defensive lineman Travis Jones (knee).
