Chuba Hubbard “day-to-day” with calf injury

CHARLOTTE — Panthers head coach Dave Canales said that running back Chuba Hubbard was day-to-day with the calf injury that kept him out of practice Wednesday.

“The calf needs more treatment, the calf needs more time,” Canales said, without offering any set timeline beyond “day-to-day.”

Hubbard was included on the injury report last week with the same injury and listed as questionable, but played against the Patriots. He had 10 carries for 49 yards.
