After notching his first 1,000-plus yard season in 2024, Jeudy has followed that campaign up with 13 catches and 182 yards through four games, leading the Browns in receiving yards. Through the first four weeks QB Joe Flacco targeted Jeudy more than any other receiver, passing to him 30 times, also the most on Cleveland.

In Week 4 against Detroit, however, Jeudy dropped a pass from Flacco on a potential big gain and was disappointed following the game, saying he needs to make those plays.

“I dwell on (dropping the ball) for that day, but other than that, I move on and move forward. It’s football, it’s a part of the game. That wasn’t my first drop and that’s not going to be my last,” Jeudy said. “I don’t put too much time into it, and I do what I need to do to fix it and then move on.”

Jeudy’s role as the veteran of the position room becomes more important as the Browns shuffle the wide receiver room due to injuries. Second-year players and rookies like wide receivers Isaiah Bond and Jamari Thrash also may get more opportunities to make plays. With a rookie quarterback also now starting for the Browns, Jeudy knows he needs to be better to help Gabriel and his younger positional peers.

“It’s very important. It’s Dillon’s first start so I’m trying to be the best version of myself for him so he can do what you need to do on the field,” Jeudy said. “But those guys being hurt, I have to step up.”
