After playing on Monday Night Football this week, the Denver Broncos did not practice on Wednesday, but NFL rules require an injury report, so the team released an estimated update.

Of note, tight end/fullback Nate Adkins was listed as an estimated non-participant as he is in the NFL’s concussion protocol. That will give him an uncertain status going into Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Adkins started for the Broncos in Week 4 and he played 34 snaps. Adkins caught two passes for five yards on Monday, but his biggest contributions came as a lead blocker. Denver’s offense would miss him if he’s not able to make the trip to Philadelphia:

Elsewhere on the injury report, outside linebacker Jonah Elliss (ribs) and wide receiver Marvin Mims (hip/ankle) were listed as estimated limited participants. Everyone else would have been considered full participants if Denver had practiced.

The Broncos are set to practice on Thursday and Friday, so we’ll get more updates later this week.
