The Jacksonville Jaguars may be without star pass-rusher Travon Walker when they face the Kansas City Chiefs on ‘Monday Night Football’ in Week 5.
Walker, who joined Jacksonville as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, sustained a wrist injury in Jacksonville’s win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

According to a source of senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Walker is to be considered ‘week-to-week’ after a consultation with a specialist this week.
As such, it seems unlikely that Walker will be able to play against Kansas City on October 6, though the Chiefs’ coaching staff will be sure to prepare a gameplan to deal with the former Georgia Bulldog during practices this week.
Whether Walker plays or not, the Chiefs would be wise to take caution against the Jaguars’ outstanding pass-rush ahead of their primetime matchup against Jacksonville.
Through four games in the 2025 regular season, the Jaguars have tallied 15 tackles for loss, nine interceptions, and seven sacks.
