Wednesday’s Injury Report

The Seahawks held four players out of practice on Wednesday as they prepare for a Week 5 contest between 3-1 NFC teams. DeMarcus Lawrence, who exited last week’s game with a quadricep injury, did not practice, nor did tackle Josh Jones, who was out last week due to an ankle injury. Two players who returned from injury last week, safety Julian Love (hamstring) and cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) were also held out Wednesday’s practice.

Rookie safety Nick Emmanwori, who has missed the past three games since injuring his ankle early in the season opener, was a full participant, an encouraging sign for his chances of returning this week.

The Buccaneers had nine players listed as non-participants on what is an estimated report, as they held a walkthrough on Wednesday. Among those listed as not practicing are running back Bucky Irving, who is dealing with a new foot injury, receiver Mike Evans, who missed last week’s game with a hamstring injury, and quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is listed with knee and right biceps injuries, though it’s worth noting that he was also on last week’s report and was able to play.
