The Seattle Seahawks are gearing up to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend. This isn’t just a crucial NFC matchup, it’s also a special 50th anniversary game between the two 1976 expansion franchises. To be able to win this one will be an important one for both playoff standings and team pride. The Bucs are no joke, and in order to secure a win over them, the Seahawks will need all the help they can get.

Fortunately, it appears reinforcements may be on the way.

Rookie safety Nick Emmanwori, who has missed the last three games (and majority of Week 1) was a full participant at Wednesday’s practice. Emmanwori has been dealing with a high ankle sprain but avoided a stint on the Injured Reserve list. This is a promising sign for his availability on Sunday.

The bad news is there are more than a few who did not participate, including fellow safety Julian Love and cornerback Devon Witherspoon. Witherspoon did play on Thursday against the Cardinals, so perhaps his absence at practice is precautionary for his health.

Seattle’s full injury report from Wednesday’s practice can be seen below:

Did Not Participate:

DE DeMarcus Lawrence – Quad

S Julian Love – Hamstring

CB Devon Witherspoon – Knee
