Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh spoke to reporters after Sunday’s game, commenting on the successful game plan from Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

“The second drive, we went down the field again, and we had an interception. [No.] 54 (Leo Chenal) made a great play,” said Harbaugh, “It was just a great football play [that] he made, so that stopped that drive.”

Kansas City defeated Baltimore with little difficulty, 37-20. The longtime Ravens head coach further detailed the effectiveness of the Chiefs’ blitz packages.

“Well, I think the big one was the zero blitz where they got us for the big loss in the first half,” said Harbaugh, “That was the big one. We tried to go to max protection, [but] it just didn’t work out for us. It was just a bad play for us. That was a tough one. That was the worst one.”

Kansas City ranks as the NFL’s No. 2 scoring defense over the last three weeks, allowing just 16.3 points per game during that span. They have remained the top-scoring defense in the league since the beginning of the 2023 season by a wide margin.
