Not only has Cam Skattebo gained support from New York Giants fans for his fearless, destructive style, but his teammates certainly appear to be all-in as well.

The ex-Arizona State running back’s infectious screams during the Giants’ practices, touchdown backflip celebrations and frequent colorful verbiage caused his teammates to mimic him at their training facility on Oct. 2.

When Skattebo’s teammates walked up to an on-field camera asking them, “Give us your best Skattebo impression,” the video compiled their hilarious imitations, including their new starting quarterback, rookie Jaxson Dart.

“Yo, what up Big Blue!” Dart said. “It’s four-four and six in the trap!”

Dart referred to Skattebo’s No. 44 and his own jersey, No. 6.

Skattebo was seen in the next short clip alongside his fellow running back Devin Singletary, who wagged his tongue and screamed toward the sky. Giants linebacker Brian Burns did the same, and third-string QB Jameis Winston yelped “YEAHHHH! LET’S GOOOOO!”

Then LB Abdul Carter did a backflip, and several others thereafter imitated Skattebo’s head-rams after hand-offs and when he blocks defenders.

Skattebo is the Giants’ leading rusher with the most touches through their first four games. Despite his team being last in the NFC East (1-3), Skattebo has been in several of the NFL’s weekly highlight reels.

His breakout runs from scrimmage, his 98 yards receiving (12 catches on 15 targets), and 11 forced missed tackles (ranked 16th in the league, per Pro Football Focus) garnered multiple NFL Rookie of the Week nominations through the season’s first four weeks.
