The Buffalo Bills have a new punter thanks to injury.

After a leg injury to Cameron Johnston, the Bills (4-0) in Week 4, Buffalo needed a punter. The new man has arrived.

Former San Francisco 49ers punter Mitch Wishnowsky has taken over.

The team announced the transaction this week:

Wishnowsky, 33, spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers. During his stint with the team, Wishnowsky averaged 45.6 yards per punt.

Johnston was injured in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints.

Wishnowsky was with the 49ers this offseason but was let go. He was briefly with the Washington Commanders in September but after a few days he become a free agent.
