Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Leo Chenal spoke with reporters before practice on Thursday, reflecting on his game-changing interception of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 4.

“I was saying that to the guys, this is the first one (interception) that I actually made an athletic or DB type play,” said Chenal, “It was pretty cool and really then thing was plastering on the down that (Ravens QB) Lamar (Jackson) is going to extend plays. So, it was plastering on the down and being able to read his (Ravens TE Mark Andrews) eyes and just get my head around and do my best to make a play.”

During last Sunday’s victory, the Chiefs pressured Jackson on 51.9% of his dropbacks, marking the second straight week for Kansas City with a pressure rate over 50%. On non-blitz downs, Steve Spagnuolo’s unit still got pressure on 10 of 18 dropbacks.

Chenal ended the game with four tackles, along with the interception. The turnover was the first interception thrown by Jackson this season.
