4- and 10-year-old killed in Largo crash, police say

LARGO, Fla. — A car crash in Largo on Saturday left a 4-year-old and 10-year-old dead as well as several others injured.

Police identified the kids as Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria (4) and Jabari Elijah Solomon (10).

The incident happened on Ridge Road between Ulmerton Road and 8th Avenue.

According to investigators, a Dodge Durango crashed into a Kia Soul that was trying to make a left turn.

The crash closed parts of Ridge Road for several hours as police investigated.

Police say alcohol did not appear to be a factor.

The crash is still under investigation.
