New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye previewed Sunday’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills earlier this week, and he threw a little shade at the New York Jets in the process.

For years, the Patriots and Jets were thought of as the two biggest rivals in the AFC East division, but times have changed. Buffalo has become the team that everyone is chasing. The Bills have won the last five AFC East titles, and they look to be in a solid position to do so again.

The stakes are very high for this game, and Maye has no problem looking at the Bills themselves as the Patriots’ biggest rival. He elaborated on The Quick Snap Podcast earlier this week.

“We hate the Jets, but I think this Buffalo-Patriots deal is becoming one for us at least that we need to chase down the top dog in the division,” said Maye.

There is plenty of anticipation for Sunday’s game with the Patriots looking to narrow the gap in the AFC East division. This is also a chance for Maye to take his star status to the next level by knocking off the reigning NFL MVP, Josh Allen, on the road.
