The NFC West rivalry between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams heated up even more after the Thursday night overtime showdown. The 49ers pulled off the 26-23 win to move to 4-1 and take first place in the division, while the Rams fell to 3-2 after multiple fumbles and missed opportunities.
Following the win, 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir had some words for Rams running back Kyren Williams.

“He’s got a fat mouth. He shouldn’t have been talking,” Lenoir said on his Instagram live recently. “He pointed at me when he scored.”
Lenoir seems to be referencing Williams’ first touchdown of the game on a pass from Matthew Stafford in the second quarter. Williams waltzed into the end zone and appeared to point at Lenoir when they were both in the end zone.
Williams finished with 131 total yards and two receiving touchdowns, but fumbled the ball at the goal line for what would have been a game-winning touchdown. Instead, the Rams had to settle for a game-tying field goal on the ensuing drive to force overtime.

We’ll see if this comment comes back around for either side when the 49ers and Rams face off again in Week 10 at San Francisco.
