The Texans signed Brown off their practice squad Saturday, but he’ll have to wait for his 2025 debut after the team ruled the offensive tackle out for personal reasons, not injury-related.

Brown joined the Texans’ practice squad in late August and has since been elevated to the active roster.

The 32-year-old from Florida last played with the Bengals in 2024, appearing in three games (all starts). He’s expected to play a depth role on Houston’s offensive line in the Week 5 matchup against the Ravens.
