The Buffalo Bills close out their three-game homestand tonight against the New England Patriots in a high-stakes AFC East matchup at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. on NBC, with Buffalo donning their new “Cold Front” uniforms from Nike’s Rivalries series for the first time.
Buffalo improved to 4-0 last week after beating the winless New Orleans Saints and comes into this meeting undefeated in the division, having already beaten the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets. A win over New England would give the Bills a perfect 3-0 mark against AFC East opponents and extend their dominance over the Patriots, having won six of the last eight meetings and four straight at home, including playoff games.
New England (2-2), meanwhile, is coming off a 42-point win over the Carolina Panthers, fueled by quarterback Drake Maye’s efficient play and their league-leading special teams, including Marcus Jones’ explosive punt returns. New England ranks top 10 in both offense and defense.
The Bills bring the league’s top rushing attack into the matchup, led by James Cook, who has notched three consecutive 100-yard games, the first Bills back to do so since 2011. He and the offensive line face one of their stiffest tests yet against New England’s second-ranked run defense, allowing just 77.5 yards per game on the ground.
A victory would also give Buffalo its first 5-0 start since 1991 and only the fourth in team history.

Stunning stat in how the tables have turned on Patriots and Bills.
Patriots haven’t won consecutive games since Oct. 30-Nov. 20, 2022.
The Bills, by comparison, have lost consecutive games just 3x since.

The Patriots are averaging 101.3 rushing yards per game which is 25th in the NFL. If there is a game for the Bills run defense to get back on track…

“That team has been good year in and year out.”
“Things haven’t changed, especially since I left. I know that team well, so it’s gonna be another test for us.”

Drake Maye on the #Patriots–#Bills rivalry:
“All eyes on us….It’s gonna be fun. Hostile environment….We hate the Jets, but I think this Buffalo-Patriots deal is becoming one for us, at least, that we need to chase the top dog in the division.”
